The Added Value of Creating A Wellness-Wellbeing Culture in Your Healthcare Facility

Avigaili Berg, CEO , TheSoundWell

A business entity is like a living organism. The cells in any company are your employees.

Dear CEO, decision maker – the most important asset in your company is your employees.

A business entity is like a living organism. The cells in any company are your employees. The management team should nourish and support employees’ wellness-wellbeing so that they will be motivated and passionate to act in their best performance, creativity, collaboration and attention in their jobs.

Money is important, however the feeling of being appreciated, respected and valued is not less important.

This is a win win approach: Take care for your employee, and the employee will care for the quality, vitality and growth of your company even in times of uncertainty.

The difference between wellness and wellbeing:

Wellness are the conditions and the tools you as a leader should provide as environment and atmosphere in your facility:
1. Body movement
2. Eating healthy
3. Reducing mental, emotional and physical stress atmosphere
4. Resting / nap / sleep
5. Environment for creativity
6. Personal space harmonic design
7. Physical quality environment – light, water, air

Wellbeing - This is the personal process in which employees apply on themselves to improve and activate positive habits of their preventive lifestyle and positive approach and attitude during their work.

The Elephants in The Room - Stress and Burnout
By the end of the day, everything starts with Vitality. Vitality is the energy we take in and how we utilize it to live and perform our actions. Two employees may be doing the same job. One may be full of passion and motivated, the other may be tired and stressed.

In a way, it’s sad that healthcare facilities (hospitals, rehabs, clinics) that their main goal is health do not place in their first priorities in wellness & wellbeing of their employees.

The damage to organization and individuals may lead to:
● Decreased job satisfaction: Professionals experiencing burnout may feel emotionally drained and unfulfilled in their work.
● Increased turnover: Burnout can contribute to higher rates of staff turnover, leading to staffing shortages and disruptions in patient care.
● Reduced quality of care: Burnout can negatively impact a healthcare professional's ability to provide high-quality care, potentially leading to medical errors and patient dissatisfaction.
● Mental health issues: Burnout can increase the risk of mental health problems, such as depression and anxiety. We at Thesoundwell Are Here to Help you Implement A Culture Of Wellness & Wellbeing To Reduce Stress And Burnout And Recharge Vitality With Sonic Ergonomic Vibroacoustic Therapy
